The Cleveland Browns are hoping to cash in on continuity.
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland sports fans have questions about the Browns, Cavaliers and Indians. We have answers (sort of).
You Said It was created on the premise that the only thing Cleveland sports fans needed more than a championship was a sense of humor.
Now that this city is winning pennants and championships left and right you might think You Said It has run its course.
Then Trevor Bauer is attacked by his own drone on the eve of the American League Championship Series.
And the Browns go through five quarterbacks in a span of eight games.
And you recognize that being a Cleveland sports fan means you’ll at least occasionally have to laugh to keep from crying.
So, our new vow is to keep You Said It alive until the Browns win a Super Bowl.

The team that stays together doesn’t necessarily win together.
Bud: Why don’t I get a fuzzy feeling when Sashi Brown says, “The team will be together for a long time?” Kinda like the college coach from an 0-12 team saying all the starters will be back. Is that good? – Dave Sansone, Rocky River.
The Browns are in a great position to pick franchise-transforming players in the draft. Don’t lose sight of that. It’s only been the case 18 other times since 1999.
The Eastern Conference playoffs come complete with a “snooze” button.
Bud: Was that a ‘MOAC’ the Cavs just dropped on the Pacers? Mother Of All Comebacks? – John, Shaker Hts.
It’s a little premature to say that. Unless you don’t think the Cavs are capable of falling behind by 27 in the next round.
If only LeBron could improve, he might be in the discussion.
Hey Bud: I know this isn’t debated enough, but who is more likely going win the NBA MVP award? The guy who hogs the ball and shoots too much or the guy who plays defense like a matador?? – Jim Marinin.
I get your take on Russell Westbrook. But I didn’t know Kyrie Irving was even in the discussion.
The meetings could be held in a phone booth if there were still phone booths.
Hey Shaw: When are you gonna go all Mel Kiper and make your You Said It’s a pay site that is only readable to “insiders”? – Devin, Concord.
Sites that go to pay walls often lose readers. My goal is to keep the seven I have.
