After Donald Trump’s big win on November 9th, thousands of grieving liberals and activists took to the streets across North America (yes, in Canada too) to protest the impending presidency of a man they felt did not represent their beliefs. Despite Trump saying he would not accept Clinton’s presidency had she won and despite calling for a revolution back in 2012, a large number of Republicans on Twitter are complaining that anyone protesting is a sore loser.
The protests, which are still going on, have instilled a sense of purpose to those who feel duped by the election results. Unfortunately they have been met with continuous controversy, with some turning violent, and with those participating being labelled “thugs and goons” by human wind bag, Rudy Giuliani.
Last week, actor and YouTuber, Adam Rose, participated in an anti-Trump protest in LA where he documented the entire process. In Rose’s video below you’ll see the reality of a peaceful protest: a safe space for people to gather in solidarity under a common cause.
Let’s have more of this, please.
