NBA needs to butt out of Cleveland Cavaliers’ game-day business: DMan chats on 92.3 The Fan

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The shorthanded Cleveland Cavaliers were routed by the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday night in Los Angeles.

Before the game, Cavs General Manager David Griffin said, he received a call from the NBA about the Cavs’ decision not to play LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love (Kyle Korver also did not play).

The Cavs had their reasons. Even if they did not, it is none of the NBA’s business. The NBA can’t be calling its teams about game-day decisions.

I talked about the matter with Chico Bormann on 92.3 The Fan.
