Nike LeBron Soldier 9 “BHM” That I Never Knew Dropped »
I pride myself on having completed two things on this website… the list of all shoes worn by LeBron James in his career and the list of all released Nike LeBron colorways. Even though the releases section is missing Team Bank styles, which are very hard to keep track of, and Ambassadors, I have them organised on my disk and they will be posted… sometime in the future.
As for the main series and the Soldiers I’m always up to date… or at least I thought so. As history shows, most recently with two outlet-bound LeBron 14s some of the released models are very low-key. Let’s face it… it’s not like Nike announces every shoe… and that’s what I’m here for… but recently I stumbled upon on something special.
Nike has a tradition of creating special colorways for special occasions like Black History Month,
Christmas, All-Star, and Easter. That’s usually within the main signature line, though. Very often they also create a counterpart colorway for the Nike Soldiers, which usually remain as PEs worn by NBA’s #TeamLeBron.
It turns out one of those designs ended up at retail – the ‘BHM’ Nike LeBron Soldier 9. The shoe was worn by Jahlil Okafor on MLK Day back in 2016. Surprisingly enough I’ve recently discovered plenty of pairs listed on eBay with a regular style code and complete production packaging.
And even though I missed that originally, I’m not the only one… everyone else did too. At least I found that missing gem. Releases section has been updated.
I’m all set.
