As America’s primary agency for foreign affairs, the Central Intelligence Agency have something of a mythical nature in modern society. Founded shortly after the Second World War by Harry Truman, the 33rd president of the United States, the CIA have played a prominent part in American History, participating in the attempted Bay of Pigs investigation in 1961 as well as the Watergate scandal in 1971. The CIA have a reputation around the world for their ability to uncover information wherever it may lie, but WikiLeaks may have given them a taste of their own medicine in an astonishing exposé.

In its latest act, WikiLeaks has potentially laid bare all the CIA’s spying secrets, including what appears to be a comprehensive hacking system for the Virginia-based agency.
