  1. I remember being about 7 and crying in my Dad's bedroom while I watched the movie with him and I ran out to stop my tears and my Dad called my Mom (they have been divorced my whole life and she was never ever there) and asked her to speak with me and I remember it being the most brief conversation I've ever had if I remember it at all.

  2. Oh My God!!!!!!!! This movie is just Fab! i have no words. The child "DAVID" is Love. I'd never cry before in any movie……. i cried a lot!!! i just had no idea why???? but yes!!!! after this movie, i started love children. I think we should not go for an emotional robot because humans are more emotional than them, that they even forget the difference between a loving machine and an original one!! this is the saddest movie, i'd ever watch…………………

  3. I dunno why but this movie makes me feel weird. It's like a mixture of melancholy, fear, and anxiety. Especially at the part where David is staring at the statue of the blue fairy until the end of civilization. Just gives me really bad vibes through and through. Still a great movie nonetheless.

  4. I will choose my words carefully. These experiences are double edged swords. It may bring you a good experience but it also brings about a permanent 'scar memory' which I am not sure is something I really want.
I've had this feeling 3 times now. The first one was Dickens' David Copperfield. It took me a while to get the early part of David's life out of my head.
The second one was, Sheldon's Doomsday conspiracy (Bellamy's separation), If Tomorrow Comes (Whitney's tragic jail life) and The Sands of Time ( Graciella's going back to nunhood).
The third time arguably is this blasphemous, jarring, scarring movie.
But I must give credit. These have the power to scar me.
But it should also be understood that being thoughtful, sensitive, understanding, deep etc is not something good for the individual with these traits.
