Snapped! Graduation photo with a difference

When it came to her graduation photographs Texas A&M University student Makenzie Noland wanted to make sure they really stood out.

so she enlisted the help of Big Tex, a 14ft alligator at the animal rescue centre where the wildlife and fisheries sciences student has been working as an intern.

Since starting at the centre Makenzie has developed a special bond with Big Tex. She posted the photographs on her facebook page with the caption ‘Not your typical graduation picture’.

In one of the shots she has placed her “Aggie” or Texas A&M University ring on the alligator’s nose.

There is also video of her feeding big Tex and she appears to have trained him to come to her when beckoned and even “beg” for food.
